THOMAS MANTRIPP - THE DRIVER
Thomas is 15, he's a Year 11 schoolboy who has had a lifelong passion for speed and motorsport, following successful seasons at club and National level in 2011 and 2012 the 2013 campaign ended very well, Thomas was crowned Club Champion yet again and became the RYA British Sprint Champion, not content with that he went on to become the UIM Vice World Champion in a very hard fought event with 20 competitors from around the world. In 2014 Thomas became the RYA British Champion and added another club championship to his collection as well as a credible 7th place in the UIM European Championships. 2015 has again proven to be very successful with another runners up place in the UIM World Championships held in Imatra-Finland, Thomas has also regained the British Sprint Championship & the British National title. Whilst being very focused on what he does he still participates for personal enjoyment and fun.
POWERBOAT RACING - THE SPORT
GT-15 is a fairly new green engine class of racing allowing children from the age of 9 to participate in the thrill of powerboat racing, there are only a few active powerboat clubs left in the UK now and we are lucky enough to live on the doorstep of one of the best with racing every Thursday night throughout the summer months.
